Local Beaches
Woolacombe beach
Woolacombe Beach is one of the finest beaches in the West Country, it is easy to see why it has won numerous awards. It's a big favourite for families and surfers. The rolling surf brings unbroken Atlantic breakers from across thousands of miles of ocean to this three-mile long stretch of golden sand. The beach is backed by sandy hills and the Woolacombe Downs with the village of Woolacombe lying at the northern end of the beach.
66 Willingcott Valley is situated only 2 miles from the world famous blue flag beaches of Woolacombe and Putsborough, however North Devon is blessed with so many other beautiful beaches you are never far away from a beach of your choice - be it the sandy beaches at Croyde Bay or Saunton Sands, or the hidden coves and rock pools at Lee Bay or Combe Martin.

Putsborough beach
Putsborough Sands is renowned as one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in the South West.
Its vast expanse of golden sand, lapped by wonderfully clean bathing water and crisp waves, makes it a paradise for both swimmers and surfers alike.
